Guy Stern studied Computer Science and Philosophy at UCT. After a few years working in a traditional software engineering role, Guy started his own web development company, creating custom websites, web portals and apps governmental, NGO and private clients. In 2016 Guy built his first website for a law firm and based on the experience started to specialize in legal web marketing. He quickly found many clients in the legal profession in need of marketing and web solutions. In 2016, he created Law Firm Video and in 2017, he created Legal Connection which was a runner up in Startup Bootcamp Africa. In 2018, he co-founded Baobab.law which started as an entry at the Global Legal Hackathon and went on to win the HiiL Innovating Justice Challenge for Southern Africa. Guy is passionate about LegalTech, JusticeTech, Block-chain technology and believes in decentralization, social capital and radical sharing economies.
